Events Tickets Demo

This event is a demo for Event Tickets Plus, a ticket selling plugin you can purchase to use with The Events Calendar. You can read more about Event Tickets Plus and our other plugins on our main site.

We’re having a party to celebrate all the great feedback we’ve received about WooCommerce Tickets since it launched. Everyone who wishes to attend is invited! Lots of fun fake events will be taking place:

  • Face painting!
  • QA Roundtable with our support team
  • Keynote speech from Shane Pearlman, CEO of Modern Tribe
  • Bring-your-own-booze happy hour
  • Bouncy castle
  • Pony rides

It’s going to be one heck of a celebration. Join us, won’t you?

You can experience our Tickets plugin functionality by “purchasing” a ticket from the form below. Don’t worry, you won’t be charged! This is only a demo to show you how cool Tickets can be!

Startup Happy Hour!

Startup Happy Hour! is a friendly, informal gathering of like-minded people from the Portland Startup Scene.

There are no pitches, no nametags, and no agenda – just hanging out, making new connections, and enjoying each other’s company.

We’re meeting this Friday at 4:30 PM at the Green Dragon.

When you arrive, please gather in the area by the back bar. We request that guests mingle around freely rather than clustering around a single table – this makes it easier for everyone to meet each other and network effectively.

You are welcome to arrive and leave at leisure — the start and end times function within a fluid continuum. That said, we find that the event works best when most people arrive within the first 15 minutes or so.

WordPress Denver Happiness Hour

If you are a front-end designer, intense developer, writer, or a person that likes to poke around on the Dashboard, then come on by. Bring your WordPress work and questions.

The meetup will be in the IdeaLab. It is in the Community Technology Center at the Central Library, on the southwest end of level 4. Take the elevators up and walk into the computer lab. Head towards, and then past the Ask Desk – look for the big glass door behind the stacks of computer books.

OpenHack Monthly Meetup

OpenHack London’s purpose is to offer a space where people of any skill level and interest can get together to develop and design.

Bring any project you want to work on. Don’t have a project? No problem. You’ll find someone to pair with at the meetup.

OpenHack London is very novice friendly. Just interested in seeing what people are up to? Come on by and sit in on a project someone is working on.

Toronto Coffee & Code

Starting a new thing!! : Coffee & Code – in the late week! Previously we had a Wednesday meet-up, and it was decided to be too close to Tuesday. Through discussion, we decided to create a NEW meet-up time at a NEW location closer to downtown; breaking the gaps!

Meet-up is at Early Bird Cafe for now. Recommendations are ALWAYS welcome! Early Bird Cafe is only open until 7. Starbucks may be an option after 7 if people still wish to stick around.

Times are a bit earlier due to earlier closing time in comparison to Tuesday meetups. Show-up at this time is completely optional if too early.

Looking forward to this new attempt and see you all there!

Copy-pasta from Graham:

Veterans of the group know what’s-what. However, if you’re new, follow these simple rules:

1) Show up at ANY time between 10 AM and 3 PM and for ANY length of time.

No pressure to have to arrive at a specific time or stay until the end. If you’re a keener, you can even show up earlier and stay later; it’s totally up to you!

2) Bring a project!

It can be a game, a website, or a learning resource you’re using to learn how to code. All levels of expertise are welcome and I strongly encourage you to ask questions, exchange ideas, debate coding practices, or whatever tickles your fancy. Come ready to chat or come with headphones so you can concentrate 😉

3) Keep it casual.

We’re meeting up so can meet fellow coders and have fun coding in a group (because, let’s face it, coding by yourself isn’t always fun).

Hope to see you all there!

Happy Coding,

-Graham
