Welcome to WP Shindig! This site is produced and maintained by the team at Modern Tribe and theeventscalendar.com, as a place to both showcase our stable of event plugins and provide meaningful information to the WordPress community in doing so. By using The Events Calendar & Events Calendar PRO to highlight upcoming events in the world of WordPress, we’ve created a demo site that does more than just showcase products with fake dummy content. WP Shindig is truly a resource for you — the community — and we’re always looking for events or happenings we may have missed to add to the calendar. If you’ve got one worth sharing, please submit it so we can publish your event for public consumption.
Though you can find your way around the site with relative ease, a quick overview of what you can find here:
- The main calendar at /events, which is running a stock install of The Events Calendar PRO and can be toggled between calendar & list view as you see fit.
- The “Add Your Event” page, where we are always looking for interesting submissions. Keep in mind that all events are moderated (to keep out spam and inappropriate content) so it may take up to 24 hours before your submission is published.
- Demos of the various widgets, different plugin views and our ticketing add-ons, all under the “Demo” dropdown in the header nav.
- A listing of our products with more information about each and links to where they can be purchased directly on the Modern Tribe website, under the “Products” dropdown in the header nav.
